I have bought frozen Tteokbokki in the past from h-mart, it wasn't as good as fresh. You know what IS as good as fresh? THIS. I don't know how they do it, it's crazy. The texture and chew is perfect somehow.

This was super easy to make, really quick. Smelt Amazing as I was cooking! Tastes really good too, perfect chewy texture of the rice cake. Definitely buying again!

What colorful presentation! It looks so vibrant and fun! On to the much more important stuff: the tteokbokki itself. First, this was very easy to make. The instructions are on the bag: put the rice cakes and seasoning in a pan with 3/4 cup of water and bring it to a boil, then reduce the sauce on medium heat to liking. It came out a nice vibrant color like the bag, and the sauce reduced well. It tasted good, but to really bring it another notch, I added some cheese, chives, and extra gochujang sauce. This really thickened the sauce further. The texture of the rice cakes were good: chewy but not too chewy, just right. It has a great aroma, and it tasted so good. It’s spicy, but not too spicy, just pleasantly so. The cheese made it creamy, too. It’s very versatile, you can really make this your own or eat as is. Value wise it’s pricey, but for the quality, I would definitely eat this again.

I’m Korean, and honestly, this is the best tteokbokki I’ve ever had. I’ve tried so many different tteokbokki places, both in Korea and abroad, but this one really surprised me.What stood out the most was the rice cakes — they were incredibly chewy, soft, and fresh. The texture was so good that it honestly shocked me. You can immediately tell the quality is different.I added fish cake and green onions, and that combination made it even better. The flavor reminded me so much of the tteokbokki you buy at traditional street markets in Korea. It wasn’t just spicy or sweet — it had that deep, familiar taste that feels nostalgic if you grew up eating Korean street food.I’ve already bought it multiple times, and I keep wanting to eat it again. Now I’m really curious to try the other menu items as well. I’ve recommended this to so many of my friends, and everyone I told is interested in trying it.I used to see this all the time on TikTok and thought it looked interesting, but I wasn’t sure what to expect. After actually trying it myself, I can honestly say I absolutely love it. This is the kind of tteokbokki I would confidently recommend to anyone, especially if they want a real Korean street food experience.

This Tteokbokki did not disappoint at all! The sause came in powder form, which made it much easier and simpler to cook. The level of spiciness was just perfect and not overly sweet like other Tteokbokki products. Even the rice cakes themselves tasted amazing as well. I would definitely try this again, and I’m excited to try other flavors/dishes too!

I have been on the search for great tteokbokki you can make quickly at home. This is by far the best I have found. It is extremely easy to make and is so quick! AND the flavor is amazing! There is a perfect kick of spice and the rice cakes are amazing. I highly recommend the "Original Tteokbokki"!

Not for me. Too artificial tasting. I ate the spicy… wasn’t hot. Gave to my teen nephew… haven’t received his opinion

When i received this item to review my first impression was that they looked very appetizing( I crave spicy korean anything always!) and very appetizing they were! the aroma of the spicy sauce immediately stands out and and the rice cakes cook very fast!

Huge shoutout to the Korean bros for sending and letting us try these out! These so far have been my favorite out of the flavors I’ve tried so far. Portions are HUGE so rest assured you should be pretty full after eating!

I know the Korean Bros team, and when I received this product to review, I was excited. These tasted great, and the spice level was right. Although I always wish things were spicier. Great!

Preparation direction could use some update. As directed in the cup makes the content overflow. Update the direction to say: "In the microwave, cook on high setting for 1 minute. Stop after 1 minute to stir the content in the cup. Cook it on high setting for another 1 minute and enjoy."

So good it should be illegal. I'm lucky these are so well priced because if they weren't id be imprisoned for grand larceny. I'd sell my soul on ebay for another bowl of this!
